This fall I was out scouting spots for some family photos that I had to do. I hadn’t really done many family photo shoots but it is something that I am getting more in to. So I was out looking for some cool spots. One place that I don’t go to a lot is Water Works Park. So I decided to head out that way to see what was all out there. They had some really good spots that were both great for families and landscape shoots.

So while out there they have a really cool fountain at the entrance. They have a sidewalk around it with lots of flowers as well. There are also a lot of trees in this area, a few of them had red berries still on them.

After I took some pictures at the fountain, I continued to drive through the parks and came upon a walking bridge that goes over the river. This bridge has some really cool architecture to it. It seems like it’s an older bridge with the way the steel and wood looked on it.

While there were a few cool places up there that I will use in the future. I ended up not using this place for the two family shoots I had. I will be using them in the future, I also want to go back up there in different seasons to get different looks at the park.
