Summer Sunrise
Mar 19, 2019
My parents own a decent sized farm, a couple of years ago they had the opportunity to put majority of it into a conservation program. With this it resulted in the most of it being planted to flowers. I have been wanting to take sunrise pictures, but let’s face it, when it’s my days off the last thing I want to do is get up early to go out. With working a full time job, right now just work on my photography business on the side. So having several days off during the 4th of July holiday, I decided that I would finally give the whole sun rise pictures ago. I love doing sunsets as you get so many pretty pictures.
The evening before I went out into he field that was blooming with all the yellow flowers to scout out my spot. Now this field is east of the house, so it’s the prefect locations for sunrise pictures. I found a really great place that over looks the flower field but still can capture a great sunrise. So the next morning, I got up right before the sun was about to come up, grab all my gear, and headed out. I had a tripod, my Canon 7d Mark ii, the Sigma 15-50 2.8 and my Sigma 70-200 2.8, my go to gear. I headed out to my spot and waited for the sun to come up.
While out there I had decided to really play with different angles and settings to hopefully capture some cool shots. I still got the standard sunrise, but also want something a little different as well. I think I was able to really capture the sunrise and the field of flowers as well.
let's chat!
I would love to talk to you about your photography needs.
